Biography
Charles regularly advises global financial institutions, investment funds and private investors, on national and cross-border transactions, in project financing particularly in the field of renewable energies (solar, wind and biomass energy projects). Charles also intervenes in the field of Real Estate financing and acquisition finance (LBO) transactions.
Charles is a member of the Paris Bar since 2015. Prior to joining BCLP, Charles worked as associate at Franklin Law Firm and Latournerie Wolfrom & Associés.

Experience
Project Financing:
- Advised Caisse d’Epargne CEPAC in connection with the refinancing of a 32 MW portfolio of photovoltaic plants owned by Sonnedix in south west France, at a value of €28.5 million;
- Advised Caisse d’Epargne CEPAC and BPIFRANCE in connection with the refinancing of a 10.2 MW portfolio of 29 photovoltaic plants owned by Smart Energies (with the support if Finergreen) in France, at a value of €43 million;
Real Estate Financing:
- Advised the lenders for the financing of the acquisition by Amaury group of its new main office building;
LBO:
- Advised a banking syndicate composed of Crédit Agricole d’Aquitaine (also acting as arranger), Arkéa Banque Entreprises et Institutionnels and Crédit Lyonnais, on financing the acquisition by Arkéa Capital Investissement and BNP Paribas Développement of ownership interests in Groupe Néméa, a leading operator of serviced apartments in France.
