BCLP advised the Caisse d'Epargne Ile de France and the Caisse d'Epargne Bourgogne Franche-Comté, in setting up a €33 million financing package for the construction of three agrivoltaic power plants in the Cote d'Or region.

Akuo is an independent renewable energy producer that develops and operates facilities around the world.

This financing supports the project to install three agrivoltaic solar power plants, with a total capacity of 54 MW. These plants will produce green energy while preserving the crop underneath the photovoltaic panels, promoting sustainable agriculture and supporting local farmers, and the region's economic players.

One of the three solar farms is the first agrivoltaic project to use trackers on field crops in France.

The BCLP team comprised Partner and co-head of the Energy Transition sector David Blondel and senior associate Charles Sechao on financing aspects. Partner Jean-Pierre Delvigne and senior associate Maryne Gouhier advised on projects and energy aspects.
