International law firm BCLP advised Caisse d'Epargne Ile-de-France CEIDF, Bpifrance and Caisse d'Epargne CEPAC on the financing of Reservoir Sun, a subsidiary of GreenYellow. To date, this is the largest financing operation for solar self-consumption in France.

Designed to finance a portfolio of 92 photovoltaic solar power plants (70% of which are for self-consumption), this transaction worth over 73 million euros confirms lenders' growing interest in self-consumption projects for industrial groups and major retailers.

70% of the solar power plants will be installed as solar parking lot shades, in response to the mandatory solarization of parking areas.

With a total capacity of 73 MWp, and 5,260 tonnes of CO2avoided per year, this project, which promotes the energy transition, builds on the existing successes of GreenYellow and Reservoir Sun.

BCLP's Paris team comprised Partner David Blondel and Senior Associate Charles Sechao, who advised on financing aspects, and Partner Jean-Pierre Delvigne and Senior Associate Maryne Gouhier, who advised on project and energy law aspects.
