Biography
Paul advises corporate clients as well as private equity funds on mergers, acquisitions and private equity deals. He also advises French and overseas companies on their internal restructurings and equity transactions and is knowledgable in general corporate law to support clients at all stages of their development.
He has assisted clients particularly in the renewable energy, telecoms, media, hospitality and leisure and new technology sectors.
Paul speaks fluent French and English and is admitted to the Paris Bar.

- Advised the founders of TMP Convert SAS on the sale of the company to RPM International INC;
- Advised Sienna IM on the financing of ZE Energy for the development of a solar hybrid park;
- Advised Alphitan and its founders on Waterland Private Equity's acquisition of a stake in the company in the context of LBO/roll-over;
- Advised Volta Group, an independent developer, an independent developer and producer of renewable energy, on the acquisition, for approximately 20M€, of three new wind farms in France from IST, an independent Swiss investment foundation;
- Advised RGREEN Invest, an independent French asset management company specializing in the financing of the energy and climate transition, in the capital increase (87Me) of Smart Energies, a major player in rooftop solar power generation in France, subscribed by Plenium Partners and SWEN Capital Partners;
- Advised the shareholders of Imocom Partners on the signing of a binding agreement for its acquisition by Mercialys;
- Advised Groupe News Participations on the acquisition of French documentary production company T2MP;
- Advised a French client for the acquisition of a 3* hotel in the center of Paris;
- Assisted Novo Banco, Portugal’s third largest bank, on the sale of its 87.5% stake in its French subsidiary Banque Espirito Santo et de la Vénétie (BESV) to My Money Bank, a subsidiary of US private investment firm Cerberus;
- Advised Altice Group on selling stakes in its French telecom tower businesses;
- Advised Montefiore Investment, a French private equity funds on the management packages granted to the managers of the target company;
- Advised MVC Capital Inc., a US funds on the sale of Centile Telecom Applications, a leading European developer of unified communications and fixed-mobile convergence platforms for operators and integrators to VOIP Holdings GmbH;
- Assistance of Altice in the sale of Coditel (Belgian and Luxembourg telecom operators) to Telenet Group; and
- Advised a French client for the acquisition of Lily of the Valley, 5* hotel in the south of France (previously known as Souleias, 3* hotel).
