BCLP advised Caleres, Inc. on its definitive agreement to acquire Stuart Weitzman footwear brand from Coach parent, Tapestry, Inc., for a total transaction value of $105 million.

Based in St. Louis, Missouri, Caleres is a market-leading portfolio of footwear brands that includes Famous Footwear, Sam Edelman, Vince, Veronica Beard, Dr. Scholl’s, Allen Edmonds, Naturalizer, Vionic and more. Tapestry is a house of iconic accessories and lifestyle brands, including Coach and Kate Spade. This acquisition cements Caleres’ leadership position in women’s fashion footwear, particularly in the brand portfolio segment.

The Purchase and Sale Agreement was signed on Feb. 16, with the transaction expected to close in the summer of 2025. More news about the deal can be found in Caleres’ press release.

The BCLP deal team is led by Stephanie Hosler and Aaron Lang with assistance from Lauren Beeman, Hallie Enix and John Schwartz, all in Corporate Transactions.
