BCLP advises electric mobility pioneer DBT Group on partnership set up with Banque des Territoires and ATE
Oct 13, 2022BCLP has advised DBT Group on its partnership with Amundi Transition Energétique (ATE) and Banque des Territoires.
A European expert in electric mobility, DBT, through its subsidiary R3 (Réseau Recharge Rapide), is creating the R3 Infra Invest platform, in partnership with ATE and Banque des Territoires. This platform will accelerate the installation of fast charging stations for electric vehicles for private individuals throughout France. R3 Infra Invest's objective is to develop and expand the use of electric mobility by investing up to €50 million in charging infrastructure projects for electric vehicles.
The DBT Group will contribute 20% of the funds, while ATE and Banque des Territoires will each contribute 40%, which will be committed as the projects progress.
This partnership is a milestone for DBT, which in addition to its design and manufacturing activities, will now have access to secured financing enabling the group to quickly establish new commercial agreements that will consolidate its existing network.
R3 will manage the platform as developer, manufacturer and operator. The partnership will enable the production of approximately 100,000 MWh of electricity through the deployment of 1,000 ultra-fast charging points. It will ultimately lead to the avoidance of 67,000 tons of CO2 emissions and make a concrete contribution to the energy transition imperative.
