Biography
Tal is a Partner in the real estate practice group who focuses on leasing, acquisition/disposition, development, real estate partnership formation and financing work for a wide variety of assets. With an unsurpassed understanding of the market and his clients’ business strategies, Tal gets involved at the earliest stages of deal structuring and demonstrates the know-how necessary to assemble the best team for each client’s project.
With over 25 years of experience in the industry, Tal is more than legal counsel, he is a trusted advisor offering valuable insight on business decisions, legal matters and strategic issues. Given his high deal volume and deep experience, there are few issues that arise that he hasn’t successfully navigated before. Tal represents KORE Investments and JFRCO. Clients value his entrepreneurial mindset and ability to challenge the status quo by providing creative solutions to everyday issues. This unique combination allows Tal to help his clients achieve their business goals despite any roadblocks that arise along the way.
A leader in his industry, Tal frequently leads seminars and panels in connection with the International Council of Shopping Centers, Bisnow and NAIOP.

- Experience negotiating over 4 million square feet of commercial leases with major national retail anchors.
- Over $1 billion in real estate transactions completed.
- Represented a commercial real estate owner/operator of office properties in its $128 million acquisition of a 13-story, 584,000 sq. ft. Class A office building in Chicago, IL, including financing and joint venture components.
- Represented a real estate investment advisor and operator with $5.2 billion in assets under management in 86,000 square foot office building lease in Colorado.
- Represented a commercial real estate owner/operator of office properties in its acquisition of a 12-story, 242,000 sq. ft. office building as well as buildings occupied by Shanahan’s Steakhouse and to be occupied by Snooze.
- Represented a Fortune 500 client in a single tenant lease of a warehouse-distribution and office building containing approximately 91,255 rentable square feet in California.
- Negotiated the lease for a chain of luxury health and fitness clubs in a space of more than 60,000 square feet in California.
- Negotiated the lease for space in a high-end Las Vegas shopping center on behalf of a prominent European fashion retailer.
