Biography

Celia joined the firm in 2003. She has experience in a wide range of sectors, particularly in development and portfolio transactions involving Purpose Built Student Accommodation and Build To Rent.

Her student accommodation practice is exemplified by acting extensively for Unite Students and on investments for The Carlyle Group, Generation, Europa Capital Partners, KKR and Ares.

She also co-leads the team that acts for The Crown Estate in respect of its Regent Street and St James’s Portfolio.

Celia is recognized by Legal 500 UK 2024 as a 'leading individual' for Real Estate: Commercial Property - Investment.

  • Advising Europa Capital Partners and Generation Estates on the acquisition, forward-funding and ongoing financing of the £165m seed portfolio for the Europa Generation UK student accommodation fund.
  • Advising KKR on the sale of the Colorado portfolio.
  • Advising Sable Capital on a number Build To Rent forward funding investments.
  • Advising Greystar on a BTR development in West London.
