Biography

Avneet is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Transactions group. Her practice focuses on advising public and private companies in a broad range of corporate transactional and contractual matters, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, corporate governance and commercial contracts.

Avneet graduated cum laude from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco. During law school, she was a member of both the Thurston Society and the Honor Society. She also served as a Fellow for Professor Aaron Rappaport’s Criminal Law classes and was the Co-Articles and Co-Acquisitions Editor for the Hastings Communication & Entertainment Law Journal. In her last year of law school, Avneet was a student associate for the Startup Legal Garage Program. Additionally, she received the CALI Award in both the Remedies and Advanced Legal Research courses. She first joined the firm as a summer associate in the firm’s San Francisco office.
