Overview

BCLP attorneys have a wealth of experience with state and federal regulations prescribing the safe transportation of hazardous materials in commerce by rail, aircraft, vessels and motor vehicles.  Our attorneys recognize the importance of helping clients identify and manage risks of transportation of hazmat in commerce early in the life of any project.  Our attorneys assist clients in understanding and implementing classification, packaging, hazard communication, incident reporting, handling and transportation of hazardous materials requirements enforced by the Department of Transportation (DOT) as well as the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) and the United States Coast Guard (USCG).  BCLP attorneys also have excellent working relationships with a number of state and federal regulators.
