Biography
Tom McNeill concentrates in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and securities, international and business law. He regularly counsels public companies with respect to corporate governance issues. His merger and acquisition practice includes structuring and financing acquisitions and divestitures for public and privately owned companies and involves both domestic and international operations. His international practice involves inbound and outbound transactions and structuring of international distribution systems. In the corporate finance arena, Mr. McNeill has participated in venture capital and joint venture transactions. He also provides advice in logistics issues involving supply chains, site selection and distribution issues.
Clients of Mr. McNeill include manufacturers of carpet, automotive parts and industrial products, a facilities management company, beverage companies, restaurant companies, and a passenger and cargo air carrier.
Mr. McNeill served as a member of the Committee on Corporate Laws of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association through 2012. The Committee on Corporate Laws is responsible for updating and monitoring the Model Business Corporation Act and the Corporate Directors Guidebook.
