Shanan is experienced in multi-jurisdictional cross border leveraged finance transactions, including both bank and high yield bond debt, under New York and English law, and particularly in asset based lending transactions and advises both financiers and sponsors on specialist hybrid ABL/cash-flow lending structures.

Shanan is New York and Australian law qualified and prior to joining the firm, Shanan practised as an attorney in the New York and London offices at a major New York law firm. She has also served as in-house legal advisor for both US and Australian financial institutions.
