Biography
Michael Rowan is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group, focusing primarily on federal, state, and international trademark matters, including prosecution and maintenance, portfolio management, litigation and enforcement, licensing and assignments, and transactional matters. They also maintain active practices in patent, copyright, and media and First Amendment litigation, as well as in domain name disputes under the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy and related national policies, including the IN Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy.
Among other activities in law school, Michael was a teaching assistant for Legal Practice I and II, and they served as a senior editor for the Washington University Law Review. They were also a legal intern for Legal Services of Eastern Missouri in the Medical-Legal Partnership, and continued in that role as a volunteer during their second year of law school. Michael additionally served as a judicial extern for Chief Judge Rodney W. Sippel in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.
