Biography
Kenneth Baker represents CMBS and other mortgage loan servicers in loan modifications, workouts, and other servicing transactions. He has represented CMBS trusts and other commercial mortgage lenders in loan assumption and modification transactions for mortgage loans in excess of $1.5 billion.
Ken's experience includes assisting servicers and other CMBS participants with pooling and servicing agreement analysis and advice, including both REMIC and non-REMIC tax compliance. Ken has also advised subordinate bond buyers in GSE-sponsored securitization programs, with a focus on loan-level risk analysis. In addition, Ken has experience advising mortgage loan servicers in connection with tax-credit and tax-exempt bond financed affordable housing developments.
Ken received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
