Biography
Kaley is an associate in the firm's Corporate and Finance Transactions and Sports and Entertainment practice groups. On the Corporate and Finance side, Kaley has experience representing investors, buyers and sellers in private equity, public and private company M&A, and investment deals involving a range of industries. Kaley’s Sports and Entertainment practice focuses on sports business and governance, including representing owners and investors in transactions involving professional sports teams, naming rights, sponsorships, licensing agreements, event and stadium operations, as well as representing leagues, international federations and National Governing Bodies.
Kaley graduated Order of the Coif with a Certificate in Corporate and Commercial Law from the Part-Time Evening Program at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. While in law school, Kaley was the President of the Business Law Society, Part-Time Vice President of the Student Bar Association, Treasurer of the Sports & Entertainment Law Society, Production Editor of the Denver Law Review, and Senior Editor of the corporate law blog, The Race to the Bottom. Kaley holds a Masters in Business Administration from Daniels College of Business and is a graduate of the Joseph Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver and the University of Denver's College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences.
Not only committed to the success of her clients, Kaley is also invested in fostering diversity and inclusion in the legal community. She is an active member of the Employment Committee of the University of Denver Sturm College of Law Alumni Council and sits on various firm committees, including the firm's Recruitment Committee for the Colorado Offices.
Kaley began her professional legal career as a summer associate with BCLP. Prior to joining the firm, Kaley spent nine years as a member of the In-Game Marketing and Promotions and Fundraising and Development teams for the University of Denver's Division of Athletics and Recreation.
