Biography
Jung Shim, Ph.D., focuses on intellectual property matters in the areas of patent prosecution, counseling, portfolio management, as well as patent litigation. He holds a wide range of experience in industrial chemical research that includes prosecuting patent applications with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Jung is often credited for his significant technical experience with complex chemicals, petrochemicals, display hardware, microelectronics, and batteries. His technical skills are credited to the development of material solutions used modern display technologies that include large screen OLEDs. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Jung was a principal scientist at a major chemical corporation in South Korea for over ten years. He is also an inventor credited with more than 90 patents in the field of display, semiconductor, and battery applications.
