Biography
Julie is an associate in the firm’s Colorado Springs office who focuses her practice on Technology and IP Disputes. Julie assists clients with trademark clearance; trademark and copyright registration, protection, enforcement and counseling; domain name, social media and Internet-related issues; and licensing and transactional work.
Julie manages global trademark portfolios, conducts IP due diligence for acquisitions and mergers, and handles domain name disputes and Internet takedown requests.
Prior to law school, Julie graduated from the Ohio State University with two baccalaureate degrees in political science and international studies, earning a position as a legislative aide for the Ohio House of Representatives. While attending law school at Northwestern University, Julie was recognized for having the most volunteer/pro bono hours prior to her graduation. She was also awarded honors in senior research for a paper she co-wrote after traveling to Malawi to conduct an audit of its prison system.
Outside of her work at the firm, Julie is an avid rock climber, hiker and concert-goer.
