Biography
Jay Latzak's commercial real estate practice is diverse and he regularly represents clients with respect to all aspects of commercial real estate and lending transactions.
Mr. Latzak represents life insurance companies, banks and other institutions in making, restructuring and foreclosing on loans secured by real property throughout the United States. His commercial lending practice includes the negotiation and documentation of a variety real estate secured loans. Mr. Latzak is also very experienced with problem loans, REO dispositions and non-judicial foreclosure in Georgia. Mr. Latzak has given a continuing legal education seminar on non-judicial foreclosure.
In the area of acquisition and development, Mr. Latzak has represented developers in many areas of commercial development, including mixed use, retail, hospitality, and industrial. Mr. Latzak routinely represents corporate clients with respect to general real estate matters and the real estate aspects of merger and asset acquisition transactions. Mr. Latzak's leasing practice includes landlord and tenant representation in both single and multiple occupant buildings.
