Biography
John (Jack) Walbran's practice focusses on government investigations and other government contract-related matters. Mr. Walbran worked from 1977 for the McDonnell Douglas Corporation, then for The Boeing Company when the two merged in 1997. He served within Boeing’s law department as vice president and counsel in the litigation group, where he addressed issues ranging from criminal and false claims allegations through a full range of contract and subcontract differences, including, in particular, systems and compliance matters. Since joining the firm, Mr. Walbran has successfully handled false claims investigations and government audits arising out of a wide range of contingency contract pricing, cost charging, subcontracting, and quality issues; prime and subcontract quality, acceptance testing, and product field performance issues; material management and accounting system cost transfer and pricing issues; and economic price adjustment issues involving GAAP, GAAS, and pension plan accounting.
