Joel Ocampo is an associate in the firm’s M&A and Corporate Finance practice group. His practice focuses on advising public and private companies in a broad range of corporate transactional matters.

During law school, Joel was a Student Attorney at the Saint Louis University Entrepreneurship and Community Development Law Clinic and a Law Student Intern for the Neighborhood Vacancy Initiative at Legal Services of Eastern Missouri. Additionally, he served as a Faculty Fellow, Treasurer of the Tax Club, and President of the Asian American Law Student Association. Prior to law school, Joel completed internships in the business advisory groups of both a global and large regional accounting firm.

Joel received his J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2020. He graduated with a B.S.B.A. in Accounting and a Masters in Accounting in 2017 with honors from Saint Louis University John Cook School of Business. Joel was a Summer Associate in the firm’s St. Louis office in 2018 and 2019.
