Biography
Gregory Iannelli practices in commercial litigation, primarily representing national banks, lenders, and servicers in the defense and prosecution of various litigation matters. Mr. Iannelli has obtained dismissal of numerous claims brought by residential mortgage borrowers involving wrongful foreclosure, Truth in Lending Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, consumer protection, contract, and fraud and misrepresentation claims. He has successfully litigated several such matters through to being affirmed in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Iannelli also has represented commercial lenders in the appointment of receivers and deficiency litigation, and has been involved in appeals concerning Arizona’s anti-deficiency legislation in the state appellate courts. Mr. Iannelli frequently argues before state and federal courts in defense of financial services litigation, and has trial experience in general commercial litigation. In addition, he has been involved in complex commercial litigation, including trade secrets and unfair competition, health care, and antitrust, and has supported trial teams in that capacity in the state and federal courts.
During law school, Mr. Iannelli served as an Articles Editor for the Ave Maria Law Review.
