Biography
Ezequiel Romero represents financial institutions in complex consumer financial services litigation matters. Mr. Romero’s practice includes all aspects of litigation, including case analysis, discovery, motion practice, deposition preparation, court appearances, hearings, mediation, settlement negotiations and trial preparation. Mr. Romero defends financial institutions in a variety of matters related to consumer lending statutes, including matters alleging violations of the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Florida Consumer Collection Practices Act (FCCPA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), as well as state unfair and deceptive acts or practices (UDAP) statutes and other federal and state statutes and regulations.
