Evan Kaufman
Biography
Evan Kaufman is a Partner in the firm’s New York office. He represents developers, private equity funds, and other institutions in a wide range of real estate matters including acquisitions, dispositions, and financing across all levels of the capital structure. With over a decade of experience in the real estate industry, Evan has particular strength in mezzanine financings, preferred equity investments, and their related intercreditor arrangements. He also has significant experience in the workout and restructuring of distressed debt on behalf of both borrowers and lenders.
In addition to the above, Evan maintains an active joint venture practice representing both sponsors and capital providers with respect to a variety of strategies and asset classes throughout the United States.
Outside of his legal practice, Evan participates in the firm’s first-year associate training program for the real estate group.
