Biography
Ellen Komlos is an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group where she assists clients in various stages of patent litigation, patent prosecution, copyright disputes, and maintenance of trademark portfolios. Ellen was a summer associate with the firm in 2020.
Ellen earned her J.D. cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis. During law school, Ellen was the associate managing editor of the Washington University Journal of Law & Policy, secretary of the Women’s Law Caucus, a peer career advisor, a member of the Trial Team, and a member of the Trademark Moot Court Team. Ellen also completed an externship with the Missouri Attorney General’s Office in the Public Safety Division.
Ellen graduated summa cum laude from Auburn University. She earned a degree in mechanical engineering and a minor in business engineering technology. She completed engineering study abroad programs in both China and Germany. Before attending law school, Ellen worked as a materials & processes engineer for The Boeing Company.
