Biography

Brandon Lorenz Stephens is an accomplished patent attorney with over four years of experience in patent law practice. Brandon has a proven track record of successfully navigating complex patent landscapes across diverse technologies, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, chemistry, semiconductors, mechanical engineering, display devices and software.

As in-house counsel and IP attorney at IBM, Brandon excelled in drafting and prosecuting patent applications, achieving dozens of Notices of Allowance through his innovative and persuasive advocacy. As an associate patent attorney at F. Chau & Associates, Brandon represented high-profile clients, including Fortune 500 companies. He successfully prosecuted patent applications across various technical fields, quickly mastering complex subjects to deliver effective results. 

He was a fellow of Touro Law Center’s two year accelerated honors juris doctorate program, graduating second in his program and magna cum laude in his overall class. Brandon was a published member of the Touro Law Review and won oral advocacy accolades as well as numerous CALI awards. He graduated magna cum laude from Binghamton University with a BA in philosophy, politics and law and completed post-baccalaureate premedical studies.
