Biography

Annalisa is an associate in the Technology, Commercial, and Government Affairs and Business & Commercial Disputes groups, where she brings a dynamic blend of litigation and advisory skills to a range of complex legal issues.

In her sports law practice, Annalisa represents national sports governing bodies and international federations, providing advocacy in both domestic and international arbitrations and handling internal grievance proceedings. She is particularly focused on athlete protection and anti-doping matters, leveraging her expertise to safeguard the integrity of sports and uphold standards of fairness in competition. Annalisa’s role often involves advising sports clients on a broad array of transactional matters, from drafting and implementing internal policies and procedures to negotiating agreements, sponsorships, and contracts that support the operational and reputational needs of her clients.

In addition to sports law, Annalisa has built a robust practice in consumer privacy and data security, with significant experience in advising clients on their obligations under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). Her privacy and cybersecurity work encompasses a wide range of advisory and litigation support, including the complexities of data sharing and retention, policy drafting and implementation, data breach response, and compliance with evolving data protection regulations. Annalisa’s experience also includes representing clients in data breach and consumer class action litigation, and she has been involved in cryptocurrency arbitrations before the American Arbitration Association, where she navigates the unique challenges posed by emerging digital assets and technologies.

Annalisa earned her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where she developed a foundational understanding of both traditional and innovative areas of law. Her multi-faceted experience positions her as a valuable resource for clients seeking comprehensive legal solutions across the intersections of sports, privacy, and technology law.
