BCLP St. Louis Office Managing Partner and Co-Chair of the firm’s Sports, Media and Entertainment Group, Ryan Davis, has been recognized in the 2024 edition of The POWER List: Sports and Entertainment Law by Missouri Lawyers Weekly.

A highly regarded transactional and business lawyer, Ryan’s sports and entertainment practice focuses on advising sports teams and their owners, players, sponsors and other business partners as well as other clients in the sports and entertainment industry in connection with their investments in and ownership of sports franchises, naming rights, sponsorship, media, suite license, concession and other commercial agreements. He has also advised clients on their development and operation of entertainment districts and venues, litigation, arbitration and investigation matters, and ongoing legal and business counseling. 

As a leader in sports, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate law, Ryan has represented several professional sports teams including the St. Louis Blues and the St. Louis Cardinals for a number of years. He is one of the most active naming rights attorneys in the industry, having advised clients in connection with more than $2 billion in naming rights transactions including deals for Enterprise Center, Stifel Theatre, GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, Acrisure Stadium, and Citi Field, among other venues. Ryan has also represented clients on high profile sponsorship deals, such as Stifel Financial Corp. in connection with its sponsorship of the STIFEL U.S. Ski Team, its jersey sponsorship agreement with the St. Louis Cardinals and various other sponsorship and endorsement deals.
