Partners named to Missouri Lawyers Media POWER list for M&A

Partners Stephanie Hosler and John Welge were named to the Missouri Lawyers Media POWER list 2023 (subscription required) for mergers and acquisitions work.

Missouri Lawyers Media interviewed attorneys and others around the state, reviewed records of major deals and consulted Missouri Lawyers Weekly archives of done deals to formulate this year’s list of “the most powerful M&A attorneys in Missouri,” the publication stated.

Stephanie is global department leader of BCLP’s Corporate & Finance Transactions Practice. She concentrates her practice in the areas of business and transactional counseling. This includes mergers and acquisitions, general commercial counseling, joint ventures and strategic alliances, private offerings of securities, stock-for-stock acquisitions and acquisitions of minority interests. She represents public companies, closely held businesses, venture capital firms, investment partnerships, portfolio companies of venture capital and buyout firms, and financial institutions. Clients include telecommunications, banking, consumer goods, life sciences and private equity firms, among others.

John has more than 30 years of experience advising on corporate law. His practice focuses on leading middle-market mergers and acquisitions for individuals and corporate clients buying and selling businesses in the U.S. and across the world. He also advises on a broad range of business law matters including corporation and limited liability company structure and formation, corporate reorganizations and restructurings, venture capital and private equity investments, leveraged buy-outs, private stock offerings, joint ventures, commercial agreements, and statutory matters under Missouri and Delaware corporate law. John also leverages his prior experience as a CPA with Big 4 and national accounting firms.
