BCLP Partner George Chen is set to speak at National Asian Pacific American Bar Association’s (NAPABA) Partners Summit, held August 10-11 in New York. George will speak, as part of an interactive program, addressing his path to leadership, highlighting the challenges and rewards of law firm leadership, and provide real-world advice to Asian American and Pacific Islander law firm partners who are future leaders (and equity partners). Through his experiences, he will show how meaningful connections, strategic approaches and progress within law firms pave the way to leadership.

George Chen has held several leadership positions with NAPABA, serving on the Board of Governors in presidential roles and is the former Nominating and Elections Committee Chair.

At BCLP, George Chen is the leader of the Phoenix Intellectual Property Practice and a member of the firm’s executive committee. He partners with long-term clients to develop, protect, enforce, defend, license and commercialize IP and business assets, from startups to Fortune 50 companies. He is credited as a leader of being a top IP attorney in Arizona and across America, and is repeatedly selected as a top trusted advisor to in-house counsel at universities, technology companies, and those in retail, insurance, energy, manufacturing and other sectors.
