Partner presents in webinar on lessons for boards from collapse of banks
Apr 11, 2023BCLP Partner Jim McAlpin was part of a Bank Director Magazine webinar April 11 titled, “What Can Boards Learn From the Failures of SVB and Signature Bank?” Jim joined moderator Emily McCormick of Bank Director and panelists Julie Stackhouse, former EVP of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis and a director of Simmons Bank, and Charles Nelson of the University of Delaware’s Corporate Governance Center. The panel discussion explored lessons for bank boards from the recent failures of SVB and Signature Bank and the likely regulatory response that will impact all bank boards.
