Partner Joins International Association of Defense Counsel
Oct 13, 2021BCLP Partner Lee Marshall has accepted an invitation to join the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC), the preeminent invitation-only global legal organization for attorneys who represent corporate and insurance interests.
Global department leader of BCLP’s Litigation & Investigations Practice, Lee focuses his practice on commercial, intellectual property and appellate litigation. He is an experienced trial lawyer who has represented clients in the United States Supreme Court, argued appeals in numerous appellate courts, and tried cases in district courts across the country. He is the former leader of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Group and the Appellate Team.
“IADC has been enhancing the skills and camaraderie of its members for 100 years and I am looking forward to leveraging my experience and knowledge as a member to continue promoting the mission of this prestigious organization and the legal profession,” Lee said. “Being part of the IADC is a true honor.”
Founded in 1920, the International Association of Defense Counsel counts members from six continents, 51 countries and territories, and all 50 U.S. states. The group’s core purposes are to enhance the development of skills, promote professionalism, and facilitate camaraderie among its members and their clients, as well as the broader civil justice community.
Lee’s announced membership in IADC has been featured by numerous legal journals and regional media outlets, including by General Counsel News, CityBiz, Attorney at Law Magazine and the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
