BCLP Partner Richard Young was interviewed on Titillating Sports with Rick Tittle, a popular Bay Area sports radio show. The interview covered Young’s work with athletes and anti-doping, including a discussion of anti-doping issues around Russian athletes in the Olympics. Young also discussed his representation of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) regarding suspended Chinese swimmer Sun Yang and various complexities surrounding the case, including the most recent decision that again found he committed an anti-doping rule violation. The decision received prominent mention in The New York Times and other outlets around the world.

A thought leader in anti-doping, Young is credited as the lead drafter of the World Anti-Doping Code. For further anti-doping content, listen to Episode 5 of BCLP Talks: The Olympic Movement, where BCLP Partners Steve Smith and Rich Young talk to award-winning journalist Alan Abrahamson of 3 Wire Sports regarding anti-doping and current cases in the Olympic movement.
