Paris Compliance Team Ranked Excellent by ‘Décideurs’

Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner’s Paris-based Compliance Team is ranked as “excellent” in the 2020 Compliance Guide of Décideurs, a French reference work for business law professionals. The team is ranked for compliance and fraud investigation, both international and internal.

The team is led by Partner Constantin Achillas and Counsel Cécile Terret and David Père.

The BCLP Compliance & White-Collar Crime Team’s activity covers the conduct of internal and independent investigations and compliance audits, implementation of anti-corruption compliance programs, development of anti-corruption policies and procedures related to FCPA, UKBA and Sapin II law, and advice in the event of internal fraud. The team also assists with complex criminal proceedings, which could include corruption, money laundering and tax evasion, cybercrime, forgery and merger litigation, and representation of senior executives at police interviews, assistance of executives or companies in government investigations, advice on compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and advice on corporate crime risk issues related to mergers and acquisitions.
