BCLP’s announced opening April 24 of an office in Seattle brought attention from regional, national and international legal outlets. The new office is the firm’s first in the Pacific Northwest, which has grown into a significant litigation hub for clients. Litigation Partners Jennifer Campbell and Allison Krashan will lead the Seattle office, initially joining with Associate CaroLea Casas. The new office was featured by Bloomberg Law, The American Lawyer, Reuters, The Global Legal Post, Law360 and the St. Louis Business Journal, among others (some subscriptions apply).

While the new office was specifically opened to support BCLP’s firmwide focus on class actions and mass torts and the growth of litigants filing claims in Washington state, the Seattle office eventually will welcome teams from BCLP’s Real Estate and Middle-Market Transactions Practices.

“I think we’re just really focused on Seattle right now, making Seattle successful, making sure that we do integration the right way, and making sure that Seattle becomes part of the firm,” Lee Marshall, global department leader of BCLP’s Litigation & Investigations Practice, told Law360 in a joint interview with Jennifer. “When we do launch a new office, it doesn’t happen very often. We want to make sure that we do it right and that we really focus all of our energy there.”
