Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner’s newly established UAE-Israel Team was highlighted Sept. 21 by Law.com (subscription required). This follows the historic announcement that Israel and the UAE abolished a near 50-year ban on business and trade relations between the two nations with the Abraham Accords Peace Agreement. “Although we don’t practise Israeli law, we seek to be the ‘go-to’ international law firm for Israeli and Israel-related clients doing business abroad,” London Partner and team member Jonathan Morris told Law.com. “Our goal is to be seen as a trusted adviser for Israelis seeking to set up in business, access capital, enter into joint ventures and undertake M&A in the UAE, and similarly, for Emiratis looking to identify potential investment opportunities in Israel, particularly in fintech, digital health, cyber, food and agtech [agricultural technology].” Click here to read more about BCLP’s UAE-Israel Team.
