New Partner Strengthens BCLP’s Technology and Outsourcing Work

International law firm BCLP today announced that Anne Friedman has joined the firm as a partner in the firm’s Santa Monica office. Anne is well known for her work in outsourcing, technology, commercial deals and contracts. She joins from DLA Piper.

Anne’s practice is focused on structuring and negotiating large-scale strategic sourcing and technology transactions. Her work often involves global and domestic outsourcings in the areas of information technology, software development and maintenance, and business process. Her busy practice also includes drafting and negotiating transition services agreements in connection with M&A transactions, software licensing, integration and implementation transactions, hosting agreements, distribution agreements, related corporate transactions, and handling issues related to data privacy, data security and intellectual property matters. 

Multinational companies rely on Anne to negotiate contracts connected with the Internet of Things (IoT), big data, artificial intelligence (AI) and other complex technology transactions. She represents Fortune 500 and other large companies in industries including financial services, general and investment banking, mortgage banking, pharmaceuticals, health insurance, hospitality, food and beverage, educational services and others.

In addition, Anne has provided pro bono legal services to a number of community services organizations in the Los Angeles and Washington, D.C., areas.

Anne is recognized by The Legal 500 for her outstanding work in outsourcing, commercial deals and contracts. She also has been recognized as part of an award-winning practice by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP), the largest group of sourcing professionals in the world.
