Martinez-Fraga to Speak on American Society of International Law Panel

Miami Partner Pedro J. Martinez-Fraga is set to speak at the American Society of International Law’s Global Engagement Series. He will join a panel of speakers from across the globe to touch on issues of international law and policy that will be affected by the new Biden-Harris administration.

The March 17 session, titled “Investment, Human Rights, & Sustainable Development in a Changing Latin America Order,” will focus on Latin America in light of changes in the global legal order.

Martinez-Fraga is the co-leader of BCLP’s International Arbitration Team. On December 16, 2015, President Barack Obama appointed Mr. Martinez-Fraga as one of four U.S. delegate members to the Panel of Conciliators of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (World Bank), effective February 23, 2016. He serves on the Advisory Council to the Restatement (Third) of International Commercial Arbitration of the American Law Institute. Martinez-Fraga is a leading practitioner in the field of international litigation and transnational arbitration, including complex jurisdictional disputes concerning common law and civil law issues.
