Lawyers in ‘Biometric Update.com’ on US Biometric Laws and Legislation Tracker
Feb 23, 2022A US Biometric Laws and Legislation Tracker created by BCLP was featured Feb. 21 by Biometric Update.com. The tracker provides a map highlighting the current status of biometric privacy-related laws and pending legislation. It also notes recent activity on the bills’ paths through the legislative process, and that numerous of the pieces of pending legislation have been inactive for some time. BCLP continues to monitor as newly proposed legislation proliferates. The tracker was created by Partner Lauren Caisman, Global Data Privacy and Security Chair Amy De La Lama and Associate Mel Whigham.
