BCLP Partner Kurt Ma was interviewed by Law360 about the outlook for video gaming M&A in 2024, trends in mobile gaming consolidation, and whether there were transformative, mega-deals on the horizon. When asked about video-game dealmaking in 2024, he said “2024 will be less quiet. I'm feeling optimistic. Gaming is much more resilient than many other sectors. That's down to the fundamentals: You've got your recurring revenue. You've got your franchise, longevity, deeply loyal customers. And the video game market remains fragmented.”
