Associate Grace Martinez has been awarded the Missouri Bar’s 2024 Diversity Champion Award.

Recognized for her unwavering dedication to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion within the legal profession, the Bar commends Grace’s leadership and active involvement with the Hispanic Bar Association of Greater Kansas City, as well as her founding and continued support of the University of Missouri-Kansas City Law School Diverse Alumni Network. Notably, Grace’s efforts in mentoring diverse law students across Missouri have fostered a supportive professional network that enhances opportunity and access, while amplifying impact through education and collaboration. Her commitment to her mentees’ growth and development has been instrumental in promoting a more inclusive legal environment within her community and beyond.

The Missouri Bar’s 2024 Champion Award, established by its Board of Governors, recognizes lawyers who demonstrate a steadfast commitment to inclusion and have made significant strides in the retention, advancement, and promotion of lawyers of color.
