‘Crain’s New York Business’ Names Andy Auerbach as Notable Leader in Real Estate 2022

BCLP Partner Andrew Auerbach, US regional practice group leader of the firm’s global Real Estate Department, has been selected as one of the Notable Leaders in Real Estate 2022 by Crain's New York Business.

“The 79 professionals on our list of Notable Leaders in Real Estate are an accomplished cohort that is driving the city’s evolving real estate market,” Crain’s stated in the Nov. 14 edition. To qualify for the list, honorees were “selected for their achievements in the real estate industry and their involvement in mentorship, philanthropy or community service activities.”

Andy is a well-respected real estate private equity lawyer with more than 20 years of experience structuring, negotiating and documenting complex real estate finance transactions across all asset classes. He regularly works on the firm’s most significant deals and has long-standing relationships with many clients. Andy has broad experience representing borrowers and lenders in all aspects of financings and represents clients in connection with distressed situations.

He also was featured by Crain’s for having overseen significant growth in the firm’s U.S. Real Estate Department, with more than 30 lawyers hired in the past 18 months and double-digit revenue growth each year.

Alongside his busy practice, Crain’s also acknowledged that Andy is regularly asked to serve in leadership roles at BCLP, including on the Executive Committee, the Strategic Planning Committee and as a valued member of the firm’s Leadership Team.
