Phoenix Partner George Chen will moderate a panel discussion at the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA)/VIA Corporate Counsel Conference & Annual Convention virtual event, “Developing Executive Presence”. The Sept 22 program will include a panel of distinguished practitioners and in-house counsel, who will discuss executive presence concepts, the importance of executive presence when interacting with C-level executives and client boards of directors, and how attendees can develop their own style of executive presence. Among others, Chen will be joined for the program by JoAnn Chavez, Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer, DTE Energy and Mari Valenzuela, Director, Assistant General Counsel, Microchip Technology Inc.

Chen serves on the firmwide international Board at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner and is the leader of the Intellectual Property Practice for the firm's Phoenix office. His active intellectual property practice encompasses litigation, licensing, counseling and prosecution of patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret, unfair competition, Internet, cybersquatting and other intellectual property matters. He partners with long-term clients to develop, protect, enforce, defend, license and commercialize intellectual property and other business assets.
