Carsten is a lawyer and notary in BCLP's Berlin office. He advises investors, banks, insurance companies and asset managers in negotiating complex national and cross-border real estate transactions. Handelsblatt and Best Lawyers rank him among the "Best Lawyers in Germany 2022".

The new Head of Real Estate Tina Siebenhaar (42) has been with firm in Germany since 2011, and was elected to partnership in 2015. In the same year, she was appointed notary and has since built an outstanding reputation for her notary's office in Frankfurt am Main. She has also been repeatedly recognized in the "Best Lawyers in Germany" list by Handelsblatt and Best Lawyers. In her new role Tina will be responsible for the entire real estate practice in Germany.

Carsten said: "I am looking forward to the new responsibility.  Roland Fabian has excellently fulfilled his dual role since the foundation of our first offices, leaving big shoes to fill. It is exciting to continue this task and to further advance BCLP in Germany together with Tina."

Tina also thanked Roland Fabian for his commitment to BCLP in Germany. "The daily cooperation with such an accomplished and experienced colleague as Roland was always very instructive and motivating for everyone. Thanks to his work, BCLP is very well positioned in the market. Carsten, I and the entire team have ambitious goals for the firm.”

Roland Fabian added "After more than ten very successful years, it is time to pass on the baton. However, my successors make this easy for me: I am convinced that Carsten and Tina will help BCLP achieve new successes in Germany."

Lisa Mayhew, Co-Chair of BCLP, commented: "Carsten and Tina have been impressively performing the leadership tasks on an interim basis for a while now. We are delighted that they have taken on the respective roles and are driving forward the growth course we are striving for in Germany.  We also thank Roland for his immense contribution to the success of BCLP in Germany.”
