BCLP’s energy practice gets boost with new partner

International law firm BCLP announced the addition of new Partner Fraser Wayne to the Energy, Environment & Infrastructure Practice Group. Fraser will be resident in BCLP’s Denver office.

Fraser’s practice focuses on domestic and international energy transactions, with an emphasis on acquisitions, divestitures and development arrangements involving renewable and non-renewable assets and related infrastructure.

His transactional experience includes advising clients in connection with the purchase and sale of energy assets, complex joint development projects, farmout and participation agreements, transportation and gathering agreements, and other commercial transactions.

As the United States continues to focus on developing its domestic oil and gas resources while also working to transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy, clients are looking for counsel that spans the full energy spectrum (both renewable and non-renewable). This addition will add new depth to BCLP’s oil and gas and renewables practice, helping to grow and expand the firm’s offerings in both respects at a time when market demand is increasing.

A frequent author and presenter on energy law, Fraser joins from Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Fraser is also qualified to practice law in the State of Texas and the Province of Alberta (Canada)*.
