Global Inclusion & Diversity Client Relationship Partner at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, Daisy Reeves, is set to host a CLE panel along with Charlotte Office Managing Partner, Angelia Duncan, on August 14. The presentation titled, “Step up and Speak Out – the value of upstanders in the Legal profession,” will highlight the value of being more than an ally and advancing to upstanders. Panelists will also discuss why we need to speak up and what practical tips can be used for intervening constructively.

Daisy Reeves is BCLP’s inaugural Global Inclusion & Diversity Client Relationship Partner. She sits at the intersection of many diversity strands including LGBTQ*, Gender, Disability and Mental Health, working with other experts, clients and communities in helping to develop best, and next, practice in these spaces. Daisy is a known game-changer in the field of Inclusion & Diversity, both within the legal industry and more widely. Daisy is consistently ranked as one of the most influential LGBTQ* executives in the world.

Angelia Duncan is the Managing Partner of the firm’s Charlotte office. She is a commercial litigator whose practice focuses on a wide range of business and commercial disputes, and the advising of membership organizations.  In addition to her role as Managing Partner, Angelia sits on the firm’s U.S. Women’s Leadership Board and is the past co-chair of BCLP’s Lawyers of Color Affinity Group.
