BCLP strengthens Paris office with new Financial Regulation and Asset Management team
Jan 30, 2025International law firm BCLP today announces the arrival of a financial regulation and asset management team led by partner Damien Luqué, including counsel Martin Jarrige de la Sizeranne and associate Sacha Tartarin.
The addition of the team marks a significant next step in the firm's global growth strategy and diversifies our offering in France and the EU.
Damien’s core practice focuses on asset management and financial regulation. He works with a wide range of clients across credit institutions, asset managers, and institutional investors. He has deep experience advising clients on investment vehicles structures, including alternative investment funds, UCITS, private equity funds, debt funds, ELTIF II funds and other collective investments.
In addition, Damien advises French and foreign financial institutions on regulatory issues relating to the provision of banking and financial services, particularly during the launch of new offerings. He also assists clients before regulators such as AMF and ACPR, and in pre-litigation matters.
With his wider team, Damien recently advised PAREF Gestion on the regulatory aspects of the merger of Novapierre Allemagne 2 into Novapierre Allemagne, leading to the creation of PAREF Prima. He also advises players such as Dexia, Arkéa and LaSalle Investment Management.

Partner Damien Luqué
Damien Luqué began his career at Allen & Overy (2008-2014) in the Capital Markets team. During this time, he was seconded to the legal team at AXA REIM SGP and the equity team at Goldman Sachs Paris. He then practised in the Financial Services team at CMS-Francis Lefebvre (2014-2017) before joining Lacourte Raquin Tatar in 2018 as a partner.
Counsel Martin Jarrige de la Sizeranne
Martin has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2016 and holds a master's degree in Business Law and Economics from the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas (2015) and a master's degree in Criminal Financial Law from the University of Cergy-Pontoise (2012). He began his career at CMS-Francis Lefebvre (2016-2018) before following Damien Luqué to Lacourte Raquin Tatar in 2018.
Associate Sacha Tartarin
Sacha Tartarin holds a master's degree in financial criminal law and business law from CY Paris Cergy University in partnership with ESSEC. During his internships, he worked in the financial regulation teams of Simmons & Simmons and Spitz Poulle Kannan and in the Asset Management and Investment Services unit of AMF. He joins BCLP as an associate after starting out in Damien Luqué's team.
