BCLP strengthens London Energy, Environment and Infrastructure Practice Group with partner duo

International law firm BCLP has appointed two partners to strengthen its Energy, Environment and Infrastructure (EEI) Practice Group in London.

Kevin Atkins and Matthew Daffurn advise on project financings, project development and corporate work in the energy and infrastructure sectors. They represent clients across Europe, the UK, Africa, Latin America and a number of other developed and emerging market jurisdictions.

Their experience extends to energy transition, renewables, upstream exploration and production, midstream and downstream oil and gas projects, extractive industries, defense, petrochemicals, nuclear energy and electricity infrastructure.

Kevin started his career at Vinson & Elkins before joining Chadbourne & Parke as a partner in 2014, moving to Locke Lord in 2016.

Matthew spent 14 years at Linklaters, with a secondment at Rio Tinto, before joining Locke Lord as a partner in 2020. He also co-chaired the firm’s international transactions practice.
