BCLP strengthens its corporate offering with partner hire in Paris
Oct 11, 2024Leading international law firm BCLP announces today that George Rigo has joined the firm as a partner in the Paris office, with a particular focus on mid-to-large cap M&A. His arrival bolsters the firm’s corporate, finance and transactions group both in France and globally.
George has extensive experience advising on M&A and joint venture transations, including industrial groups and strategic players across the building, energy, TMT, agrifood, automotive and services sectors. He also brings particular experience within the energy and renewable energy sector and has worked alongside major market players advising on key projects in France, notably on the financing and acquisition of wind and solar projects. Some of his clients include Safran, Soprema, Thales, Saur Group, Cisco and Vivendi.
Qualified in both Paris and New York, George will work closely with BCLP lawyers across the firm’s global footprint on cross-border transactions, where the firm is seeing more client demand. Prior to joining BCLP, George was a partner in the Paris office of international law firm Orrick.
