BCLP Sponsors SCL Turkey Annual Construction Law Conference

BCLP is proud to sponsor the Society of Construction Law (SCL) Turkey Annual Construction Law Conference, hosted May 12. Partner Richard Davies will participate in the panel “International Construction Law Applications,” and Partner Shy Jackson will participate in the panel “SCL Turkey and SCL’s Worldwide.”

Richard is BCLP’s Partner in Charge for the UAE, based in Abu Dhabi. He has 20+ years' experience working in the UK & UAE specializing in transactions and disputes arising out of construction projects. Richard acts for a wide range of clients from government departments, developers, occupiers and lenders, to contractors and consultants – representing them at dispute resolution forums, arbitrations, adjudications and mediations. 

Shy specializes in construction and engineering and his practice covers project advice and acting in disputes related to UK and international projects. His experience covers litigation, arbitration, adjudication and ADR and he has advised on all main forms of contract, including NEC, JCT and FIDIC. He is a fellow of the Chartered Institution of Arbitration and a fellow of the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors.
