BCLP Recognized with Business of Pride Award by ‘St. Louis Business Journal’
May 12, 2021Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner has been selected by the St. Louis Business Journal as a recipient of its inaugural Business of Pride Awards. The firm was chosen for its consistent work in advocating for and advancing inclusion and equality in the St. Louis region’s LGBTQ* community.
“BCLP has a long and proud history of proactively supporting inclusion and diversity, and every day strives to create a firm where every individual can feel able to be themselves and thrive regardless of background or diversity characteristic,” said St. Louis office Managing Partner Ryan Davis. “Working together with firmwide LGBTQ* initiatives, our St Louis office is active in advancing LGBTQ* awareness by recruiting, mentoring, training and promoting diverse attorneys.”
For 14 years in a row, BCLP has earned a perfect score of 100 percent on the Corporate Equality Index (CEI), the nation’s foremost benchmarking survey and report measuring corporate policies and practices related to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) workplace equality, administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. In addition, the St. Louis office is home to several attorneys and business services professionals who undertake significant civic engagement in advancement of LGBTQ* equality across the St. Louis region.
BCLP will be profiled in the June 18 issue of the Business Journal, and a virtual event to celebrate the inaugural Business of Pride honorees will be held at 2 p.m. on June 24.
